Every city has their own melody. The sounds which we can hear only when we stop for a second – talking people, passing cars. What to do if this melody is not our favorite song. Check this 5 creative idea which shows how to implement music into the city.

1. Singing rubbish bin in Liverpool, UK


Mathew Streer is one of the most often visiting places in Liverpool. Everything because located there Cavaren Club. The big amount of people bring even bigger amount of rubbish. The bodies of Liverpool city decided to fight with this problem in unconventional way by putting singing bin in the street. Every time when something go into litter basket, it is singing one of the Mick McCartney’s song. If you are around by any change, be sure that you have some rubbish with you.

2. Piano staircase, Stockholm, Sweden

The musical staircase was built next to the escalator at the Odenplan subway station in Stockholm, Sweden. People could choose to either use the stairs or the escalator, with the latter being the more popular choice. The designers of the Piano Staircase decided to try to change people’s behavior by transforming the stairs into a giant piano keyboard. By applying pressure on each step the staircase would play a musical note.
